Grisham to speak at benefit

Renowned writer John Grisham will be the featured speaker at “The Bestseller – An Evening with John Grisham” to benefit the Katonah Village Library at the Salem Golf Club in North Salem on Oct. 24 at 7:30.

Proceeds from the benefit will be used to finance library renovations and enhancements, and to support its extensive programming and operating expenses.

“We are thrilled to honor Katonah Village Library supporters with such a special guest,” said Karen Sabath, noting that more than 40 volunteers are actively planning every aspect of the gala. “Our fall benefit is vitally important to help secure the long-term financial health of one of our community’s most valued cultural assets.”

Individual tickets for the benefit will be $195 each and will include cocktails, dinner and live and silent auctions. Guests may also purchase tickets to a special pre-benefit cocktail party with Mr. Grisham at the Katonah Village Library for $1,000 per person.
