Happy 56th Birthday. John Grisham is the GREATEST writer there has ever been. I could read his latest book without ever stopping, but I do & then go back & reward myself & read some more. One day it would be my greatest dream to sit down and talk to him. I live in North Alabama, But one reason I like his books is the settings on the Miss. coast. My favorite place in the world is Gulfport/Bilox Miss.
I loved the book – A Painted House. I grew up in the country during the depression and identified with the boy. Grisham certainly was able to describe the circumstances of the depression!! I have been fascinated with the locations of his books since my son lived in Bovina and worked in Vicksburg and later in Clinton (?Clanton?).
