This book is awesome! I can’t wait for the next book to come out! I’m a kid myself and this is a great book for kids who like mystery!

A different book any age will enjoy.
Bought one for my 12 year old grandson.
Hope to see more in the future young readers can also enjoy.

    Keep up the great work!

I just finished reading it and I can’t wait to find out what happens next. I am an elementary school librarian and I know I will be recommending this book many times to my older students.
I have been a “Grisham” follower for years. Thank you Mr. Grisham for writing a series for all of us to enjoy together!

I just finished Theodore Boone. This book was the greatest. Theodore reminds me of me in some ways. Incidentally, I am a criminal defence lawyer in South Australia and I’m 60 this year. Not a kids’ book, it’s an everyone book!

Bought this book for my son but we both read it. Loved the book, can’t wait until the second book comes out. Hope Theo is featured in many more books.

Finished this book last night and just loved it! At 43 I must be a big kid I guess! Highly recommend it. I’ve got my 79 year old Mother reading it now. I do hope Theodore reappears in more books. Like so many others here I can’t wait to hear what happens next. I liked this book even more than the usual Grisham books. So glad too to see “only” children depicted as the sensible, well developed, interesting, busy characters they so often are!

My mother, who is a very young 90 checked Kid Lawyer from the library and said she loved the book and hopes it is a series, I don’t think she knows that it’s a childrens book, but that’s ok. When will the next one be out?

I really enjoyed reading Theodore Boone, even though it is supposed to be a children’s book. I hope there will be more books about Theodore because a series would rival Harry Potter!

I hope the next book comes out soon. I get to let my son read after all attempts with other books. Thus, the book must be very interesting since he was able to finish it in a short time..Thank you!

Loved the book! I wish that he would publish more about Theodore. The only thing that I didn’t like was the ending and that it didn’t end with a verdict. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Loved the first book—and more importantly, my 2 pre-teens did also. So we were excited when today I recieved a notice from Amazon that a new TB book was coming out. When I tried to pre-order it, I learned that the announcement was actually just for a paperback version of the first book. And to make it a little more confusing, this new paperback is coming out with entirely different cover artwork. The new cover drops the sub-title “Kid Lawyer”—which is why I thought it was a new book entirely. How confusing! And then I guess there IS a new book, “TB: The Abduction” coming out in June? We will be looking forward to that. And finally, does anyone know about a paperback entitled: “Theodore Boone: Young Lawyer” that some indies are selling? Its cover also sports yet more new artwork. But I am thinking it is perhaps an unauthorized paperback version the first book because it came out in June 2010. Bottom line, all of this makes it hard to know what is officially going on.

My 12 yr old son bought this book at an airport on his way to visit his grandpa in Arizona. He read it faster than he’s ever read any book in his life! He loved it & the ending about killed him. He’s hoping there’s a sequel coming SOON! Thank you for sparking his love for reading!
