Video: Grisham hosted an event for David Toscano

Best-selling author and democratic check-writer John Grisham hosted an event on Charlottesville’s downtown mall on October 6, 2009 to raise money for David Toscano’s re-election campaign.

John Grisham appeared at Siips restaurant in Charlottesville, putting his name and money behind Delegate David Toscano.

Getting the author’s endorsement is a big boost for Toscano. Grisham has donated faithfully to Democratic Party candidates. He backed Hillary Clinton in her presidential run, and also supported former Virginia governor Mark Warner in his successful bid for the U.S. Senate.
